I started this blog to catalog my love of all things food. It was 2008, and I was obsessed with the Shopaholic novel series, hence the title.

This blog is an outlet for my passion and obsession with food. From the kitchen utensils {I have about 8 whisks and counting} to the kitchen appliances {my KitchenAid family is growing} I’m obsessed with it all. Aside from obviously eating food itself. Which I also like doing. Quite often.

I come from a big Italian family. I’ve grown up eating some very good food, and as such I have gained a love for cooking and baking just about everything. I was lucky enough to visit Italy this past summer {2012} with my Nonna, and see where my father was born. He is ultimately the reason I have come to acquire the palate I have today.

I try to balance baking with healthy homemade meals featuring real, fresh ingredients. I save the butter for baking, not cooking.

Adam and I just moved into our very first house {dec 2012} where we will be decorating and DIYing to transform it into our happy little home.

I have an absolutely great family that continues to grow, and miss my father dearly each day.

Most days you can find me cooking {for Adam} eating {with friends and family} and cleaning {sometimes} in my kitchen alongside my little dog Lainey.
