The Baker

I started this blog to catalog my love of all things food. Cooking, Baking, anything in the kitchen is basically a passion of mine. From the kitchen utensils, I have about 8 whisks, to the kitchen appliances, my KitchenAid family is growing, I’m obsessed with it all. Aside from obviously eating food itself. Which I also like doing. Quite often.

I’m Italian, (if you hadn’t already guessed) and come from a big Italian family. I’ve grown up eating some very good food, and so I have gained a love for cooking and baking just about everything.

I’m also a Canucks fan.

I live in a small town outisde of a large one, maybe you’ve heard of it – Vancouver, British Columbia, home of the 2010 Winter Olympics. I’m currently finishing my BA with hopes to become an elementary school teacher. My obsession and love of cooking and baking everything has grown and although I would love to be able to cook or bake daily, with the deadlines of class assignments and studying this just hasn’t happened. So I continue to do so as much as I can, and share it as often as Im able!

I have an absolutely great family. {Mom, brother & me} My dad is dearly missed.

I would rather buy baking and cooking utensils or supplies than clothes. Seriously.

I spend more time looking up recipes than I do reading textbooks. Somehow I still get good grades, thankfully.

My #1 taste tester, spider killer, garbage-taker-outer, silly-counterpart and love is Adam, big spoon to my little spoon, he is 6’3 while im 5’5 {on a good day}

His last name also just happens to be Baker. It was meant to be.

We live in a small apartment, made even smaller by the fact I have so much cooking & baking stuff. We have a KitchenAid roasting pan under our bed. Really.
