Happy belated Canada day! I love the sounds of this cake, maple walnut is my favorite ice cream flavor, but I’m sure the flavor combination would be perfectly decadent in cake form. It’s too bad summer hasn’t hit yet for you, we waited for quite a while for it too in my area. It’ll come soon.

I love maple syrup and I love Canada so this is a win-win combination! I can’t wait to try it out. Quick question about the sweetness- is it really sweet or just enough sweetness? My husband doesn’t really like it when things are overly sweet.
