Something exciting happened just before the end of last year – I became a freelance recipe writer for a large local website called Vancity Buzz.
Vancity Buzz is a Vancouver based website that covers news, events, fashion, fitness, lifestyle, sports, entertainment, travel, living and, of course, food.
If you’re a Vancouverite, you know about Vancity Buzz. With a massive audience and loyal readers it’s an amazing website for up to date information and news in and around Vancouver, BC Canada. They also hold amazing contests, with their last contest valued at over $10,000.00 in prizes.
I had been talking to Karm, the creator of VcB, about contributing to the website. We met one night for coffee to talk about adding more food and recipe content to the site and I was definitely interested in growing my own audience and contributing to another website. I love cooking and baking, but more importantly I love sharing it with others. With my own food allergy and intolerance discoveries in the past year I knew I wanted to share more allergy-friendly recipes.
So far I’ve created three recipes for the site and I have lots more to share this year. I hope you follow along with my new recipes there, too. I’ll be sure to let my regular readers know when new posts go up as well. Right now I’ll be adding about one recipe a week to VcB.
